The is dedicated to promoting gender equality in STEM through managing campus chapters, publishing our volunteer-run blog, and holding events. In 2019, we held our largest-to-date symposium, where we raise $130,000 and gave away $25,000 in scholarships and travel grants. This year we moved our symposium back to Boston, hosting the symposium at the Harvard Medical School. Perricone MD gave the Born Seekers fellowship at this event. The fellowship recognized women in STEM with the potential to change the world with their research. Over 350 applications from all over the US were recieved. We have 25 active collegiate chapters, and we are working to activate chapters that previously had been active. In 2020 we plan to hire a part-time executive director to help with our fundraising efforts!

The Mission of (PCF) is to Eradicate Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and forced early marriages, primarily in the Samburu and Maasai Mara regions by providing support services, education, scholarships and enrichment programs.PCF provides youth empowerment workshops and adult community dialogues that focus on FGM, marriage, teen pregnancy, sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV/AIDS, gender-based violence, health and sanitation, the importance of formal education, and economic empowerment for women. PCF provides scholarships to students attending secondary boarding schools and universities.

OUR ALUMNI PROGRAMMING SUPPORTS A GROWING NETWORK OF OVER 1,200 ALUMNI.

Helping under-served in the areas of health and education. Villages in India are adopted for addressing the needs. Primary focus is to work to educate, create awareness, conduct preventive screenings and to hand hold village women in terms of specific malignancies such as oral, cervical and breast cancer. Raising funds to conduct preventive screenings and also to procure a mobile mammogram vehicle fully equipped to conduct on-site screenings. Also taking up projects in rural villages in the area of education. Because of COVID our above mentioned areas could not be undertaken. Instead, we helped underprivileged by providing much needed medical supplies in 2021. We hope to return our regular mission this year.
